Production Blog: First Few Seconds

Image
Spring break was filled with us trying to record the film. My group has been trying to perfect the first scene of the film. The first scene is around 15-30 seconds in length time. Once the recording of the first scene editing started to fit the order of the film. Due to our busy schedules we haven't been able to record much. The film will be pieced together with different scenes which will make up one complete film.We had to pick certain days to film because we are not always able to film all at once. We ares still in the beginning phase of our film and plan on finishing within the week. Our filming will start again this weekend. The three day weekend is an advantage to getting a lot done with the recording process. The second scene will most likely be the target for the weekend in which we hope to finish. If all goes according to plan then the film should be finished before the due date. We want to finish the the film completely at least a week before we have to turn it in to go o

Production Blog: What We're Doing

The group I'm in is still working on the production . The setting and time of film is still inconclusive. The plot is still inconclusive as well due to the fact we need each scene to roll right into each other. The film was supposed to center around the idea of a girl in her room losing her mind. What needs to happen is that the girl needs to spread a message through her actions making the film stand out in it. The two minutes of film need to be able to display that emotion and distraught within herself. The film is coming together, but there is still some flaws to fix in order to make it the film we want it to be. There are still some inconclusive in the project. The main idea is there, but the details are what are still needed. The music has already been selected for use in the film. I make my own music and the group has all decided to use my music in the film. My music will be inserted towards the beginning of the film while she is in her room. Recording has not commenced due to

Filming and Editing Blog

This project was one that was spent really trying to piece everything together in our group with a timely and  efficient matter. . Trying to figure out when and where the movie should be filmed.  An important part is trying to film in a way we can really express the message we want to get across. The characters need to be able to fulfill the role given in the movie. The foundation we built this project around was being able to find a middle ground and set our ideas and work ethic upon each other. Between our jobs, other classes, and sport activities for the school, we all had to really come together to fine some time to film.  As well as what we need to film, where to film, and what will really benefit our situation.  Effects is very  important and trying to figure out which ones to use in the most significant way is a something we consider.  We also consider the way we use our words to get our message across. Not only by words but using our facial expressions and body movement. The ma

Planing Blog: Location, Participants and Schedule

This new project requires a lot. This time, the main goal of this final task is to make a movie film. The movie film will be about a suicide that happened because of the stress of online school. Since online school has impacted kids across the United States, my group and I thought it would be a great idea to make a film about something that's going on in today's society.  The schedule that we set up for our project is very time manageable for everyone in our group. Some of the participants in our film has jobs and other things to do so we made a schedule that will be able to fit everybody.  Schedule: 2/28/21 - 3/8/21: We will start brainstorming ideas about where the setting is, cast and what the film is truly going to be about. We will make a schedule of who will be available and what times. We will choose extras of who we want to be in our video and make sure that their availability matches ours. We will then begin brainstorming about different settings and where we want to

Planning Script Blog

Scripts. Planning for scripts is hard, even when working with a group. My group and I have spent hours having group conversations and brainstorming. There were many times when we all were stuck and couldn't figure out what to script next or the different moves a character should make. Although we struggled, we did it. Take a look at some of what we came up with it.  Dialogue, Scene 1 No dialogue Dialogue, Scene 2 Alex; Ugh, another one? Mom; What's wrong hunny? Alex: Nothing, schools just tiring. Mom; You'll be okay. You got it.  Dialogue, Scene 3 Alex: *sobbing* I cant do this anymore. Kelsie; Hey Alex, I have so much to tell you Alex: What happened, are you okay? Kelsie; No, let me tell you what Tyrone did. Alex; Okay, I'm listening. Kelsie: I caught him texting ALISHA. Alex; Oh wow, she always had it out for him. Kelsie: I know, I don't know what to do Alex: Maybe just talk to him about it.  Kelsie: You're right. thanks. Love you alex. Alex: Love you too. An
